How can i become a famous actress if i live in england?

I'm 13 and I would love to be a famous actress but I'm worried that living in  Brighton, England would affect this. Would i have to move to America? I currently go to a theatre club outside of school where i do singing, acting and dancing, I don't have much experience as I have only done it for a year and I dont have an agent but I don't know how to get one. I'm not focused on getting famous I would just love to act and be on screen, I once went to this set in London for an advert and absolutely loved all of it and I'm not even going to be in the advert. Being on set and the whole experience is what i loved. I'm not saying I wouldn't want to be famous because I would love to be in a marvel movie one day or on netflix. I'm just worried I would have to move to America for this and I don't have a lot of experience. Any advice and thoughts on this would be really helpful!

It's good to have aspirations. Have you considered Britain's Got Talent? Perhaps you have a particular talent like singing or dancing? Or if that is something you're not ready for, join a troupe or area acting group locally and see where that takes you.

Brighton, England is known clear over here in the USA, and English actors are well-liked here, so by working locally you could even build a strong enough resume by the time you go to university to attract the attention of a quality school here in the USA to come here and study theater on a scholarship if you have the theatre skills & are a good student.

    Good luck to you.

Get yourself into drama school and apply for an Equity- (actor's union) card.

Fame is a shallow, silly dream for little girls - real actors don't care at all about fame.

If you really just love to act, that's fine.  But you have to understand and fully accept that the reality is that you'll never get a good role in anything professional, will never become 'known' at all and will never get more than a few odd days' paid acting work a year, for your entire life.  That's true of 99.9% of actors.

But if you're serious, you'd need A Levels in Acting, as well as subjects like English, Psychology, History, Sociology, etc.  Then you'd have to win a place at a top UK drama school.  They're very expensive and each of them gets over 5,000 applications for only 24 places every year.  They take only a few of the very best.

Only after all that training and also getting many years of unpaid experience on stage and in short or student films, would any genuine agent even consider accepting you as a client.

You'd also need to get qualified for your 'day-job' as almost all actors have to work long hours in an ordinary job their entire lives just to afford their rent, bills, food and clothes.  Typically, an actor will get no more than ten days' paid work a year and even that's in very small roles, in small productions.

So if you're serious, get the best training you can at a good stage school and join a good community theatre to get experience.  Work really hard at school and get the best qualifications you can in all subjects.  Choose your day-job carefully - you'll need something which allows you to take time off for workshops, rehearsals, master-classes and the occasional, rare piece of paid acting work!

Acting is an incredibly hard career to choose.  Millions try and only a few ever succeed.

    Good luck!

Famous actresses who live[d] in England:-

    Celia Johnson

    Susannah York

    Hayley Mills

    Jenny Agutter

    Dame Judy Dench

    Maggie Smith

    Helen Mirren

    Gillian Kearney

    Anna Friel

    Rachel Weisz ...

.... There's hope for you yet, Millie.

(PS. I live in Liechtenstein. My chances of becoming a famous actor are about 0, and I don't want to live in America.)
