What time-frame do think there is with the commencement and fruition of cyborgism?
To ask, when will human's become cyborgs? Is their a technical term for this era? Haven't some humans, by virtue of prosthetics, become cyborgs already?

There are technicially already human cyborgs, people with one or more cybernetic limb or sensory adaptation. We're still a long way from seeing people who are more cyborg than human, though.

It's the same as the question of when everybody is going to have a personal robot that does more than vacuum floors. Why would you spend $100,000 for a machine that will make you coffee? For what reason would humans cut off their hands to install mechanical fingers for $50,000?

Yes, I was going to mention prosthetics. It is true, some of us are already cyborgs.
