There's millions of minecraft clones out there already, just play one of those. Some are even more tailored to one aspect of the game or another than the original, if oyu know what you like to focus on.

If you really, REALLY want to make your own Minecraft Clone... you're going to have to learn Java (which the original version is made on, which also makes it OS-independent) OR C++ (which the Bedrock Engine is made on) & then spend multiple years writing & debugging the code in order to make your clone playable.
The next question is... how much to you assess your time here?
* US Federal Minimum Wage -- $7.25 / hr = ~4h 08m 16.552s of work
* Walmart's Base Wage -- $11.00 / hr = ~2h 43m 38.182s of work
* Proposed US Federal Minimum Wage -- $15.00 / hr = 2 hrs of work
In short, if you cannot make your clone with all the noted features WITHIN this timeframe (2-4 hours)... it's more feasible in terms of cost to buy the game than to make your own. Granted that Minecraft has been improved upon over a decade since the game has been made available (back in the Alpha phase up to the present) & thousands of man-hours over the years have been invested since then.
If you don't know Java or C++, you'll have to add that to your time commitments IN ADDITION to obtaining the necessary compilers & SDK's to make your own software, which can make your personal endeavor impractical.

You'd rather spend 10 years of your life making a game than pay $30 for it? LOL

lol what a funny question, well if it was that easy we would all have made millions from sales of the game...
