Would you take a job that let you travel around the world but paid very little often resulting in cheap hotels and 1 dollar snacks 4 dinner?

Lets say this job let you travel around the world to very interesting and fun locations.

Not any time in the last 40 years. I might have taken such a job in my early 20s, for a while.

No, I wouldn't. Travel for work is very different than traveling for fun. That's not a way to travel; you 3wouldn't have the ime or funds to actually do anything.

Sounds like my life... but I eat well.

Wrestlers do that in general. But i do not wrestle. I am too old. But something alse like humanitarian work i would. Maybe even an animal rescue job.

I've taken consulting jobs that did something similar. The pay was good and per diem took care of my expenses but we didn't have much choice of where to eat (One of our project managers contracted amebic dysentery; I was lucky enough to just have bacillary dysentery.) or where to stay. On the way home, our flight was delayed while they got the goats out and replaced the seats, which meant that we missed the connecting flight and had to stay over in Damascus. To call the hotel a fleabag would have been to complement it. I ran around madly to change airlines so that I did not have to spend another night there.
