I guess weird is in the eye of the beholder, many people seem to regard relationships between older males and young females as something predatory while the reverse seems almost admirable.

31 isn't old, never was.  Date who you want, you only live once.

Because society is use to older men/younger women.   There is nothing wrong with it. If it is ok for a man then it is ok for women to date a younger man.
