Why should I bother getting a motorcycle license?

Very high insurance rates on motorcycles because how unsafe they are and how they're used by some, and for what.

Getting a motorcycle registered and insured, after buying it.. will send the insurance rates on my car, through the roof...

Because I would be deemed less responsible and less well educated and more impulsive.

And if I get into an accident with it, at any speed that I have any real intent on going anywhere..

I'm f)ucked and it's over and out, I'll cya later alligator..

And I seen that happen before.

No matter what equipment I have on.

So why should I go get a motorcycle license to satisfy Pennsylvania's laws on bikes over 50ccs'...

When I have a CDL which allows me to also drive a class C automobile ?

Because it is required by law  which seems to be a good enough reason to me.

Would also like to point out that motorcycle are not unsafe, They may be more vulnerable  in a mishap , but that is a different matter. How they are ridden by the idiot fraternity is another matter.

I road for 20 years, BSA, AJS, Vincent, Norton 88, Venom, and Honda, and I never had an accident, so that much prove my point that it depends on the idiot sitting on the saddle.

U basically got a license to drive 4 or more wheels when you get your CDL.(not 2)

. The cost of insurance goes up with the size of engine.(under 500cc makes a diff)

.  Any crash on a bike affects BIKE INSURANCE, it DOES NOT affect car insurance IN ANY STATE.(or car crash affect bike insurance)

.  No MC endorsement means U are NOT INSURED.

.  No MC endorsement means ANY COP CAN FINE YOU, over and over again(they need beer money)

You would be satisfying Pennsylvania's(or any other states laws which R written the same way) Surprised?

Also "U CAN BE SUED if U hit a pedestrian & that means MT bank account, lose bike and garnished wages for years.

. There is no C U later.  You can NEVER DRIVE AGAIN because they can track you through your driver's license # and your SSN & find you.  - Computers - do it instantly.

. Generally that is the gist of it.  No escape unless you die.(which seem rather extreme to save a few bucks.)

. When you are not riding them as they are a seasonal toy(you uninsure them and you may receive a check in the mail for the difference.  I buy a year insurance plan and if I stop using the bike then I hand in the plates and they send me a check in the mail for the months I did not use the bike.(which can be a couple hundred dollars)  It goes towards BEER of course.  I do mean the REAL MEN.

    Why?

Because you will have a motorcycle and not be able to use it under first fine for not having a license and a fear of increased fine for the second offense.

Having a motorcycle license will not increase the insurance fee on existing car insurance.

Having a CDL Has no influence upon your operation of a motorbike nor insurance of a motorbike.

Not all motorcycle accidents involve "over and out" you could end up blowing in a tube the rest of your life.

Driving a vehicle without a proper drivers license or insurance is illegal and will cost you more in the end.

Im gonna feed this troll asking a stupid question. Motorcycles of and by themselves arent really dangerous. People that ride irresponsibly are. People in cars and SUVs ect that dont see you are hazards to motorcycle riders. Insurance is not expensive. Maybe a higher rate if you choose a 186 MPH sport bike instead of a cruiser or a touring model. So how about you just take the bus?  Nobody cares what you think .

You are an idiot, hence, you should not get a motorcycle.

Motorcycles are NOT dangerous, idiots are.  I have rode motorcycles since 1964, zero crashes, zero "accidents."

Motorcycle insurance is cheap.  For my last motorcycle, I paid $40 a year for libility, and $60 for the odds of someone uninsured hitting me.

Motorcycles can be fun but very dangerous. You can buy a dirt bike and ride it around a abandoned forest or street and usually less dangerous then on the streets.

Choice is like, choice. Check out liability-only insurance on a standard mc.
