Should Hollywood A-Listers help another actor who broke the law? Actor Steve Comisar went to prison for fraud and is now asking for help.?

Should an actor who broke the law be able to ask more powerful actors and celebrities to help them get acting jobs to rebuild their acting careers? (Photo of actor Steve Comisar who asked some A-Listers for help getting acting roles)

Consult a good lawyer - make yourself heard - insist on your defence.

Yes, it's called groveling, on Comisar's part. He did do a bit in prison and paid his debt to society.

Why would an actor be different from anyone else who was asking for help from former colleagues?

It happens in almost every business, doesn't it?

It's just human nature to ask people you know through your career to give you a hand when things aren't going well for you.

Anyone can ask for help, but it's entirely up to each individual, whether they're actors, teachers, politicians or plumbers, whether or not they are able to, or wish to offer any assistance.

They can always ask.  The others will decide for themselves what they will do.
