My dog broke several bones is she gonna be okay?

So my neighbor's rude kids pushed my dog (she's a 10-month-old Alaskan Husky) into a deep hole because a house is being constructed and they were digging the basement and she broke a lot of bones and she's at the vet. Will she be okay I can't live without Raven.

Update:

Also I've been seeing comments that say it was my fault. By the way, Raven was with the puppy sitter when this happened.

Update 2:

Raven is okay! She broke her ribs and her left back leg, and small right front leg fracture, but she's okay!

I hope you broke a couple of those kids bones. None of us know or can even speculate on the fate of your baby. But I wish her well.

Blame your neighbour for their kids behaviour, the kids probably just thought they were playing around and I doubt they intended to break her bones. Even though Raven was with the sitter, you should have made sure she couldn't get out of the garden and kept her in the house except to do her business and told all this to the sitter as well. Ask your vet how she'll be since no one here knows the extent of the broken bones.

Ask the Vet who's treating your puppy.  Surely they can tell you something about the seriousness of these breaks.  Also, why on earth was this pup allowed anywhere near where this basement is being dug?  Don't you take any responsibility for that?  IF this is a true story, you need to take accountability for not keeping your puppy safe.  Normally I'd say to hand your neighbor the Vet bills IF your puppy was contained in your yard and those kids jumped your fence and caused harm to your pup, but that is not the case the way you described it.  You can talk to your neighbor about what their kids did so those kids can hopefully learn to treat animals better, but it was YOU who didn't keep your puppy safe.  I hope Raven will be ok, but YOU also need to learn about how to keep YOUR pets safe before you say "You can't live without Raven."

HOW would we know?  We have no IDEA which bones she broke (or how badly) whether there is internal bleeding, etc. ASK the treating vet.  WHY was she loose and not in a fenced yard?

I have no way of knowing if she'll be okay.  Sometimes you have no choice BUT to keep living.  How did she get out of your yard, away from your supervision?  That's an ongoing issue.  I trust you notified the Police and have contacted an attorney about your dog's injuries and medical bills.  But here's my bigger issue (aside from how the "rude" kids got their hands on your dog in the first place).  Do you REALLY think it's appropriate to call other Yahoo users m*therf*ckers?  https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20210...  What did you do to alienate the neighbors?
