When someone close to a court case speaks anonymously to the news, can they be arrested if their identity is figured out?

If there is a "gag order" against the person speaking, then she can be arrested. The journalist can't be arrested just for acquiring that information. It's not against the law to have eyes and ears, or to see and hear things.

Not unless there is a gag order in place.
