Is 31 years old too late to pursue a career in art?

Update:

I want to make realistic fantasy art, whether CG or traditional.

I just wonder why you waited this long. Are you afraid?

Age is just a figure... if you have interest just step into it and start your efforts sincerely

I'd say no age is too late if you have the passion and some talent.

Age is a minor factor. Your talent is most important.

One is never too young or too old to pursue whatever career one wants.  That said, making money from any fine arts is difficult.  It's best to just do it and if you make money from it you do, and if you don't you don't.  Or in other words it helps to have another source of money while you're starting out.

Of course not. There is no age limit on artists.
