Just What is there about christianity that makes its adherent's behavior any different than the Muslims behavior?

In my calculations, there is nothing..

Both survive in theocracies.

Both demand theocracy because both needs it..

Both audiences are equally violent because of its message and premise and system of belief and lines of thinking and how human psychology processes such messages..

Both audiences are bigots.

My problem is not the way it's taught..

My problem is WHAT is taught and WHAT, and HOW it is believed and worshipped.

Those things create the thought problems.

Update:

And it's not a Christian or a Muslim problem...

It's an Abraham problem..period.

Not all Christians and Muslims are violent. A lot of us are decent human beings.

There's a HUGE difference. Jesus Christ said "Love everyone, forgive, work toward God with a pure heart, kindness," etc.   Mohamed said "kill everyone who does not bow to you".

Christ is the Lord of Heaven whereas mohammed was married to a rich catholic nun who taught him the same dictatorship rules that hitler also used.  There really is a tremendous difference, in fact these two are opposite.

Both have long histories of violent and cruel punishments, for insignificant sins,  while claiming to be peaceful. The world would be better off without both of them.

If you listen to the theme song of The Flintstones, you'll see that the meaning of the word "gay" has changed ("You'll have a gay old time"). In the US, the word "Christianity" has come to be almost a synonym for Fundamentalism, a movement that started around the start of the 20th century as a reaction to the liberal Protestants of the time. The Christian theocrats of today are Fundamentalists.

When I told a friend of mine from China that if he listened to the broadcasts of Christian preachers he would rarely hear them quote the words of Jesus, he was astonished. Because the liberals emphasized the teachings of Jesus, the Fundamentalists decided to ignore these teachings and focus on the New Testament writers, especially Paul, who is to Jesus what the night is to day.

Thomas Jefferson had a notebook that consisted of quotations from Jesus. He excluded quotations he believed to be falsely attributed to him by purveyors of myth. Telling the difference between the two, he said, was as easy as telling the difference  between gold and sand. He said that the key to peace between whites and the native peoples was presenting Jesus as a wise man rather than a god. He was ignored and the wars followed.

Well as a Christian myself, I am very sorry you feel the way you do about Christianity.

I have done extensive research on both Christianity, Islam & Judaism.

The main difference I found between Islam & Christianity is the justification of killing.

The Quran condones killing in verse 9:5, instructing Muslims to kill all who do not believe. Today worldwide you can see proof of this in countries like Saudi Arabia, where Christians, Jews & any non-believer is not even allowed into the country.

Christianity does not condone killing of any kind. Is there violence in the Old Testament? Yes.. but us Christians follow the New Testament, Judaism follows the old.

We Christians are called to love Every living thing. “Those who live by the sword will die by the sword”.

That being said I don’t understand why you would be offended by how other people

Worship. Nobody is forcing you to church..
