I've never watched a blu ray movie, and I haven't missed a thing.

Blu ray although since the 4k discs also come with blu ray copies it's tough to judge.
Streaming is going to kill all those formats though as it is over 51% of the market now.
Trouble with streaming is you are at the mercy of the streaming companies and if they start banning films you are SOL.
