Homogeneity and Japan?

My sister asked me if I think Japan is declining because of Homogeneity...

I said no..

Japan is declining because of old people with all the intelligence, all the education, all the wealth, all the stuff, that old people have the human tendency to have...

The old Have convinced the young to seek having what the old people have, far too young..instead of reproducing and making their own way.

Young people with high degrees, high incomes, all kinds of stuff...

And not making kids because it would make the family "poorer"...

It's greed.

The trade of existence, for material wealth and academic knowledge.

Behavior learned from white people.

Japan isn't "declining."  Where do you get your info?  Sharon sure has a lot of questions!

This is some of the most insanely ignorant and inaccurate bilge you've ever posted - and that's really saying something. Many developed countries are experiencing a decline in birth rates. Why? For a bunch of different reasons, that when combined can create a serious situation. Firstly, people are living longer. Conditions have gotten better. Medical technology can prolong people's lives, workers receive better treatment - people get more vacation time, work fewer hours, and generally have it easier. Secondly, people are having kids later in life because these days people get educated - they don't start families until after they've completed degrees, and many people want to begin their career before starting a family. That means that people are getting married later, having kids later, and having fewer kids. Why? Because the cost of raising a family is extortionately high in the developed world. Housing costs are insane. Utilities, food, taxes, the cost of a vehicle, not to mention university tuition, are all high. Many young couples simply can't afford it.

This isn't the case everywhere, but it's the case in countries like Japan and South Korea where the population is largely homogeneous - over 95% of the population is of native stock. Countries like the USA and Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and places in Western and Northern Europe are somewhat open to immigration. Despite the fact that native Dutch and Germans are having fewer kids, the population remains stable because of the steady stream of immigrants.

In the developing world, it's the opposite. People tend to have more kids because they don't have the same level of sex education, less access to contraceptives, and fewer people get educated before getting married or having kids. More kids means more hands to work the fields or more people that you can send off to work so that they can contribute to the household. It also means that you have more people to take care of you when you're older. Parents in the developed world don't need to worry about that because they live in societies where the government provides for its people.

The situation in Japan has nothing to do with greed. The Japanese want to give their kids the best life possible. They educate them well. They provide for them well. They live in a fair and safe society where people have respect for the elderly, obey the law, and try to be good, upstanding citizens. But maintaining that system is expensive. People pay high taxes, and the percentage of the population above 65 is far, far larger than the percentage of the population that's under 15 years old. Most countries in sub-Saharan Africa are the opposite and look at how awful the quality of life is there in comparison.

You don't have any real knowledge about the world or the way things work. You just keep spewing embarrassingly ridiculous nonsense.

I don't agree with your racist view that whites cause the decline in Japan.  Sure, if they had remained fascistic or communist, perhaps as you would prefer, they would have a higher fertility rate but THEY are ultimately responsible for their actions (not white people).  They are a k-selected people, that's why they choose to have fewer children now that there's an environment where they are no longer under harsh Darwinian conditions.
