Ear wax and lightheaded ?

I have a blocked ear full of wax, doctor said they aren't syringe on NHS atm but private are and I can't afford atm. Anyway, would blocked ear be why I have random lightheaded spells? Other symptoms are hot ear and pain.

Update:

Tavy pretty much just said to use olive oil until it comes out. The lightheaded is causing huge anxiety.

Impacted earwax can cause a dizzy sensation because our ears are integral to our ability to maintain our balance. If the impacted wax is pushed up against the eardrum it can affect the signals sent from the ear to the brain which in turn can affect our balance.

I would not recommend olive oil as it can get trapped in the ear and cause an infection since it is not sterile or medical grade. There are some over the counter earwax kits that you can try using. Debrox is the most common and there are generic versions that work just as well. Follow the directions but you want to use 5-10 drops in the ear twice a day. After you put in the drops, make sure you keep your head to the side for around 5 minutes to allow the medication to soften the wax. (I would recommend doing it laying down so you are comfortable) Then use a syringe (these are located with the ear products at the pharmacy with the Debrox) and use warm water or saline solution to try to flush out any wax that loosened. You can repeat this process twice a day for 4 days. Even removing some of the wax and creating an opening in the ear canal might help with some of the lightheadedness that you are experiencing.

Look on Google and put in ear cleaning corkscrew it's a thing made out of soft rubber you use the thing in the shower you twist the thing into your ear in the direction of the arrow and it will remove all of your ear wax blockage.

Don't use q-tips all they do is push it in further and further use the ear wax corkscrew which cost less than $10 it'll clear your ear wax right up

So then he said go away with no further advice ? Use Otex, I do and it works. Vertigo is caused by a blocked ear.
