Are Mali favored to qualify for the 2022 world cup ?

Africa's qualification system means it's hard to say. Mali's group in the 2nd round means they should progress to the 3rd but then it's luck of the draw. At least 1 of cameroon and the Ivory coast won't qualify as both are in the same group so that makes it easier.
Algeria, Tunisia, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Mali, Egypt, Ghana, Senegal, Morocco and DR Congo are who i'd put as favourites to advance to round 3. They are then drawn against each other, 5 ties, home and away winners go through. Luck of the draw. Draw DR Congo, they are favourites to qualify, draw Algeria they ain't going to the world cup.
Africa probably has the toughest qualification system for me because it comes down to 2 games. Most other systems either allow a second chance or an off day. Africa don't
