Why do mediums lie?
My great aunt paid a medium $600 in 1987 to tell her where her missing daughter was at. The medium said she was in California working as a waitress. My great aunt went to California and come to find out her daughter's body was decomposing 24 miles away from her house.

They're just pathological liars looking for an easy buck. Everyone knows this, yet the govt doesn't shut them down. I wonder why? And why do people deny being psychic on the internet whereas everyone in my city openly telepathizes to me, and say I do it to them? Because psychics are evil.

Well, in this case, for $600. Psychic Sylvia Brown told a couple there son was dead and floating under a bridge. He later turned up as a kidnap victim who rescued the new victim. Very much alive. They do it for the money.

Because there are gullible people who want to believe their lies and who will pay them. Case in point: your great aunt. You want to only blame that medium, but it's people like your great aunt who allow mediums to prosper and scam others.
