Besides COVID what is the hidden reason for mask wearing?

I'm not surprised that a user here states he/she is anonymous after telling another user she 'strikes you as being not too bright'.  People wishing to insult other users should not be here.  That is a nasty thing to say to another user here when we actually know very little about each other. I've decided that I'll go anon also so as not to be the next target of that person.

People have been wearing masks voluntarily throughout the world for many yrs. I'm not going into detail for you because you strike me as someone "not too bright" ... you already made up your mind. Here comes my answer, einstein ... masks filter air pollution.

Its a dubious plot.  To see how many folks will have a mask shaped tan on their faces when all is said and done. 

Influenza.  Masks prevent many diseases, not just COVID.

You would have to target your question toward stupid people.  you know, the Qanon types and those who think masks are the "mark of the beast", or...you know, just stupid people. 

Add a headdress or 'ghetto hoodie' and Muslims basically found a new way to get American women living in fear and practically wearing a burka. Enemies of liberty work together. They just needed some help from China and American Democrats.
