Is Prince Harry simply not the brightest bulb on the tree? ?

Harry certainly is not an academic genius, going to Sandhurst rather than a university.

Harry apparently doesn't do a good job of explaining things, either. He failed to tell Meghan about title protocol, the Letters Patent of George V.

So, no, he is not the  brightest of people.

It's NOT Harry who isn't the brightest; it's that "thing' he's married to. Everyone knows a curtsey is expected when meeting the Queen. It's been this way for hundreds of years. Also everyone knows Royalty follows protocol. A Hollywood "starlet" hardly qualifies. Frankly, I don't like her...

His  record  at  school  seems to verify that

I don't feel that he thinks things through completely.  When you say you are no longer a serving Royal than you no longer get paid or require security. 

It’s so very difficult to know really. 

None of the Windsors is particularly intelligent, as I've often remarked. William's no bright spark either, and neither is his wife.

However, most people in this category aren't remarkably sharp themselves and so are in no good position to comment on anyone else's smarts.

I'm sure he is bright in some things but, reading the mood of a situation, doesn't appear to be one of his talents.

Academically it would appear not.   As I don't know the bo ... sorry, man, all I can say is he doesn't strike me as being worldly-wise.   But then he doesn't come from 'out in the world' does he.     He seems to be abnormally needy but whether that's because he's mentally challenged or just over-indulged as a boy, I have no idea.   I just see him as a man who is still a kid.

Takes after his mother in that respect. He has had a checkered past, dressing up as a Nazi, calling people Pakis etc  bringing the family into disrepute. Enough to make playing 'the race card' laughable.
