Was the devil made as a challenge to God?

God created the devil as Lucifer, the most glorious angel.  However, Lucifer led a rebellion against God and now 1/3 of the angels, including Lucifer, are eternally damned.

The devil and all his evil works are part of what Saint Paul termed "The Mystery of Iniquity". There's much more to it than we know.

Lucifer chose to rebel against God.  That was his choice.

The Angel Lucifer was made PERFECT in every way.

Jesus created all inhabitants of Heaven as IMMORTALS, and with free will to choose whatsoever they desire to do.

Lucifer of his own accord, desired to have the only thing you could NOT have in the Kingdom of Heaven, the Throne of God. This he coveted after, and thus sin was born into the universe, via the Angel Lucifer.

the fallen Lucifer was made in the "full pattern".

the bible shows this and states this explicitly.perfect and basically flawless. he like everyone has free will.we all have choices to make in life.to loveto do goodto please Godto please self(he focused more on his own self after a while).he became satan (which means the adversary) once he fell into self pride.
