Is it wrong to protect your nation/culture with borders?

If so, why does nearly every country do it?

Update:

Eggman, that's a great answer to a question that wasn't asked

in many cases, borders tell you which laws apply and which language you can expect to be used

Obviously open borders lead to people suffering needlessly.  It is not humane to allow this kind of surge into countries who really have no way to prepare for it.

It's only "wrong" if you're a sickening lib and live in the USA.

EGGMAN, that plaque is NOT law and never will be.  That "golden door" can only be opened by LEGAL immigrants, not by criminal migrants.

Bill Clinton loved the idea of a strong protected border in 95. Said Illegals were a negative on society in many ways. To the cheers of Democrats everywhere.

Nope, it's completely normal.  What's funny is that even the "woke", pro-open border "state" of Chaz or Chop, (whatever they ended up calling themselves) in Seattle set up barricades and effectively created a border as their first order of their "country".

Borders keep away brown criminals and that's racist.
