Veal is no crueler than any other type of meat.

At the end of the day, some animal dies to be carved up into food.

Am I suppose to feel sorrier for a cuter animal than an ugly one?

How is killing babies cruel if they are too young to understand the concept of death?

Veal is no more (or less, depending on your point of view) cruel than any other type of meat.

If you're OK with steak, you should be OK with veal.

If you're a vegan/vegetarian opposed to eating meat, I would expect you to be opposed to both.

Regardless of how resilient or dumb they are, calves just should be running around in fields just like chickens should be pecking in the dirt. Then we take them to one side and kill them. I don't think I see it in absolute terms of what they do experience, but in terms of how different that is to what they should experience.
