Facebook has a limit of 5000 friends. Generally, it's okay to be friends with people you know or have met. I think the more friends the better.

You can't put an average on this kind of stuff............don't judge yourself based on other peoples friend's list......

How ever many people they know in Person without knowing the Person and how many people they actually know in Person hard to come up with a Specific Number
