Which 1960's movie was best? The Great Escape, Bridge on the River Kwai, Planet of the Apes, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Hustler, or Easy Rider?

I haven't watched many 60s movies but of the ones I've watched I like these the best except 2001 which I never saw but it's always highly regarded.

They are all great movies equally as good in their own way. I guess my favorites from the list would be 2001 and Bridge On The River Kwai but the one I like to see scenes from over is Space Odyssey. I love the beginning great music and very imaginative scene which seems to fit the music perfectly. My brother new a guy who went to see the last twenty minutes 20 times. He would drop acid before watching it.

"River Kwai" was from 1957. Get a Clue.

And;  "Best" is best in Your Humble Opinion.

     In Mine,  it's:

    "Bridge on river Kwai"

    Then:

    "Planet of the Apes"

    "Easy Rider"

    "The Great Escape"

    "The Hustler"

    "2001"

Of those, The Bridge on the River Kwai is my favorite.  I also love The Guns of Navarone (1961).  The great Escape was aweseme, too.  Not a fan of the others so much.

You’ve missed Lawrence of Arabia.  Which is my personal favourite.  You haven’t got a 60’s list if that’s not on it.  Then Kwai, 2001, Great Escape.

The Great Escape from that list. A truly great movie.

What about "It's  a mad, mad, mad, mad world"? Another really good movie.
