Conservatives who support the Georgia legislation..Explain how making it illegal to give voters standing in line, food or water, prevents ?

In my state we got around that by selling food and water.

I voted in a baseball park and they had a makeshift concession stand open.

The fact is that if you are giving out anything of value it throws into question whether you are trying to buy votes.

So to avoid that sell food and drinks even if all you are doing is making back your investment or donating the proceeds to charity.

They cannot explain it.

Very simple.  People waiting 8 hours on lines to vote die of thirst or Georgia's heat.  This means they can't vote.  No fraud.

Those idiots don't seem to comprehend that voter suppression suppresses voting for everyone, even those who might vote for them.

WHY give it at all???    That is the question. You don’t hand it out to juries, or those getting an ID at the DMV, those waiting to file for SS, welfare,  waiting at the PO, or those filing papers at the courthouse.  WHY ARE LIBS INSISTING ON BEING ALLOWED TO APPROACH VOTERS WAITING TO VOTE?  The only reason is to convince or even intimidate and threaten people to vote a certain way.  This is what communists do.  You libs are disgusting.

It’s called bribing the voters. They can get water from poll volunteers working working 150’ of the poling station. Outside of that is where the issue is. Please read the actual law and not left wing headlines. How is it voter suppression? Will the left soon say if we don’t pay voters to vote it’s suppression?
