Do you think the extra game on the NFL schedule should be for rivalries that usually meet once every 4 years?

Like, why don’t these rivalries meet annually in the first place?

New York Giants vs. New York Jets

Dallas Cowboys vs. Houston Texans

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Washington Football Team vs. Baltimore Ravens

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Miami Dolphins

Los Angeles Rams vs. Los Angeles Chargers

San Francisco 49ers vs. Las Vegas Raiders

    No, it shouldn't.

When did Tampa and Miami become a rivalry?  Because you noticed they were close on a map?

They’re not rivalries besides the two New York teams.

    Dallas and Washington are rivals.

    49ers and Rams are rivals.

Just because they play in the same cities doesn’t make them rivals.

Just being from the same state doesn't make a "rivalry."

I know there's a tendency from baseball to view things like "Yankees vs. Mets" and "White Sox vs. Cubs" as rivalries, but they really aren't.  And even by the small amount they might be considered to be, it doesn't apply to football.
