I'm 29 years old and never had a girlfriend, i feel like a total loser?

I'm 29 soon to be 30 by this summer and I had never dated anyone. When asked about my romantic experience, I have never been kissed or hugged atleast in my lifetime. i am a nice guy, average looks, well educated but I have no idea how to get a girl. Some of my friends and co-workers wonder if I I even like girls and also they think I'm gay (I'm not). i feel really depressed which is caused by the zero dating history so I constantly feel like a worthless loser, Most of the time I thought, don't bother one day you will have a girlfriend, but now I'm almost 30.

I'm an introvert but a little bit outgoing, I'm not shy and always enjoy talking with new people, I'm involved with a few small groups through organizations and other activities in my community and enjoy what I do, I have many friends who genuinely seem to like me, I work as a computer programmer, independent and enjoy what I do, I don't smoke or drink. I think I'm a pretty good catch compared to lots of dudes out there. so, in short, everything seems to work right, except that no girl really wants me.

The problem is I'm not the kind of guy who always makes a girl happy and i suck so badly at making a decent conversation going especially with girls, also it's very hard for me to make a girl laugh. there was one girl I had my eye on and she gave me her number but wouldn't text me back. I've pushed myself talk to different girls over the past months but none of them have found me slightly appealing.
