If Chauvin is found Guilty, should he get a lighter sentence since Floyd was high as a kite on Opiates?

Which would have greatly affected his breathing.

    republicans always support justice - until one of their own is in the firing line, then it's always someone else's fault.

    but. lets all prejudge the trial based on the tiny bit of evidence that is known currently. that sounds fair

    Of course not.  Kneeling on someone for over 9 minutes is just bizarre.  Shouldn't the ex-officer pinned him down only long enough to put handcuffs on the victim?
