Poll: What did you take many years to figure out?

well, when I moved to Italy, I didn't speak a word of Italian. 

Yeah, not sure what I was thinking exactly........and it wasn't a very bright idea. 

I had to learn a whole new language  , from people I couldn't understand the explanations from. 

Yeahhhhh.........so NOT a good idea. 

That I wasn't the problem,  other people were. The lesson there is always trust your gut 

Money talks 💩💩💩walks. My mother use to say that. And she was right. Ppl with no money are treated like dirt. Like gum stuck on a shoe.

It took me many years to figure out... just how closed minded... people can get.

It doesn't take years to figure something out. It's that instance that happens right that minute that you figure out what slaps you in the face....

Many things that seem like years to figure out are really years spent doing something negative and just not trying to change them.

Unconditional love happens without even trying... and someone who loves you will always have time for you.

Just because you love somebody does not mean they will love you in return or in the same way.

When you find someone who makes your heart smile and loves you unconditionally, give what it takes to make them feel just as special.

That ultimately, you're on your own and you have to fight for yourself to have a good life/ future. To take ownership of where you are and to do everything within your power to create the life you've always wanted. 

We don't see things as they are. We see things as WE are.

It took me years to figure out that I'm not ALWAYS right.
