How many Christians would there be if Christianity didn't promise a fantasy afterlife or else?

Fear of mortal reality is a prime Christian motivation

Thanks

If there was no afterlife then that means Jesus wouldn't of existed which also means God wouldn't of created us. So there for we wouldn't exist

You really are something.  You're begging the question and appealing to ridicule.  Try again, and use some logic next time.

Christianity does not promise a fantasy afterlife.  It deals with reality.  Too bad you don't.

Death remains a certainty for all. Christianity provides the hope of overcoming eternal death, in and through Jesus Christ. And that's the main point.

Yeah, without FEAR there'd be no christers.

Since you insist that you do not believe, why do you care?  if you are correct it won't matter, but if you are wrong, well, then I'm sorry for you. Why do you and your ilk never question Islam? Is it because you know they would come after your head with a sword if you did?

Why do you and your ilk never question or attack Hinduism, the most classist and unfair religion of them all. Study their caste system and get back to me.

I'm not sure there would be much point in being a Christian if the promises in the Bible were false. I will gamble my entire existence that the promises in the Bible are true, however.

Indeed, one wonders. Particularly as there are so many Christians who demand to know why atheists do not see fit to rape, pillage, and murder.
