Is it common for people to get credentials for a side profession?
And then list that profession on their resume without actually having done anything?
I.e. I took a baking class, and put baker on my resume but some physical limitation stops me from being a baker?
Yes when people do this it could be a front for something else,
But im trying to understand if people really would do this just for the sake of putting something on their resume?

Do people lie on their resumes? Yes, some do. It's super stupid to put something on your resume you literally can't do because of "some physical limitation," super stupid because "some physical limitation" is going to get found out during the interview or soon after being hired, and getting caught having lied on your resume will get you instantly fired.

That's a tough one . Paper can't be tortured . If you actually had these people you could torture them .
