How do you feel about no more yahoo answers after May 4th? No need to worry about trolls anymore?

You ARE a troll. So yes, for once I agree with you. Please link the Wikipedia article that you lifted that from.

I'm a bit sad.  I started using Yahoo Answers in 2008 and it's funny looking back over that period of time, all the changes in both my personal life and the changes in Y!A that took place.

But every dog has it's day.  Most things in our modern society have a life-span of around 7 to 8 years, peaking at around 5 years and tailing off after that.  Like "The Simpsons" and "The Walking Dead," Yahoo Answers exceeded its life expectancy, but like those shows it has also been running on fumes for quite a while.  I've been predicting it's demise since around 2016 and was going to be right sooner or later.

I felt the product was at its best in the period from around 2009 to 2014.  The change from the Green format to the Purple...and all the changes that went with that change...was the Beginning of the Long End for Yahoo Answers.

Disappointed, but not surprised. Too many were working very hard to abuse the site, and it worked. It became a property Verizon Media is no longer interested in attempting to maintain.
