they affectionately call her 'their princess' even though she isn't a princess, yet when asked if American taxpayers would fund her security costs, there was a resounding NO WAY! So, do Americans value Meghan, or is it all down to money?

She's just a celebrity. So she gets casual attention.  No one really cares though which shows when money is involved.

I like Meghan. If my tax funds were going to the royal family anyway, why not include her?
