Why is everything opening back up despite the alarming number of covid cases?

Around here, the opening is gradual in conjunction w/ decreased amount of covid cases and increased amount of vaccines. It all makes perfect sense to me and the way I would do it if it was my call.

Some people cannot return until a foreigner visits.

Foreign travelers are worried about insurance and claims for covid.

Whether the covid is correct or not, the invoice is genuine.

It's a fcuk up all round

It depends what country you are in. There are many English-speaking countries here.

Many states in the US are opening up because of the wilful ignorance of Republican governors who do not care about human life. 

By the end of last summer it was a known that the shutdowns may lower cases of the virus, but the damage down to overall health. More then made up for that difference. Plus, it kills the economy. It was all about the election, not the science.
