I fly exclusively with Delta, with whom we have Platinum status and associated credit cards - so fly FC free every so often.  I show then my ID.  I also have voted in NYS for the last  47 years in EVERY kind of election - and just sign my name.  We attend Yankees games, and usually for to FL for Spring Training.  I find no reason to RANT about any of these things.  Except odd leg and knee "plate framing" by one pitcher . . .

The TSA requires that ID be presented to fly.  The airlines have no say in the matter.

I'll leave the rest of your rant alone.

ID is required to board a flight by Transportation Security Administration, an agency of Federal Government.  Delta, or any other airline for that matter, has nothing do with it.

I vote in New York State.  In New York, while you have to sign your name before you vote you do not have to show ID.
