No it's not ending.  If your biggest concern is going on a vacation, then you just don't get it.  There are ppl who worried about getting killed by COVID before the pandemic is over.  Protect yourself, your friends and family-- get vaccinated now.  I am a Republican, wear a mask and got vaccinated.

In the US, the numbers are trending downward. For the last week.

Some nations are managing (or beginning to) get the virus under control. However there are other nations where it is out-of-control without much of a solution in sight.

Vaccination, social distancing, sanitation, and masks is what is required until herd immunity is reached whereupon the virus will be manageable.

There is chance that the pandemic may subside by the end of the year but more likely next year.

Are things getting better for many? YES

Is it time to stop washing your hands? NO

Wear a mask? Debatable and depends on situation.

As this is in Air travel BEING ON THE PLANE is a minor issue.

What you do just before getting on and what you do at destination can be a problem.

International travel is still restricted to most places.

A FULLY VACCINATED person can pass COVID from one place to another.

  • There are signs that in some places it's getting under control, but it will be with us for many years yet.
