How can we call a person who is a mathematician?
Just like a person who is a Doctor, we mention the word Doctor before the name of the person like Dr. Peter or if we call a person who is an Engineer, We call Engr. Mark..
But how about a person who is a Mathematician, How will we call them?

We don't call them Doctor because that's their job. We call them Doctor because they have a Doctorate Degree (what you'd get after your Masters).
So if a Mathematician has a Doctorate, you'd still call them Doctor, even though that's not what their job is.

In the United States, we generally do NOT use "Engineer" as a form of address. The occupations to which we customarily attach an honorary or occupational preface to the name include (medical and dental) doctors, professors, presidents, senators, mayors, judges, and other political officials. Persons with a doctoral degree in any old subject (like Dr. Jill Biden) are often considered silly if they insist on being addressed as "doctor." In a professional context, though, such a person would typically be introduced as "doctor" or "professor."

N. For Nerd? By the way: any engineer who insists on being called Engr should instead use Pretentious Adolescent Who Needs Attention From Mommy.
