Would the emergency room treat a tooth abbess if it’s life or death?

Like say it was so bad that it already spread over the person’s body and was about to kill them. But it’s late at night when all dentist offices are closed. However, if the person waited until the next day to get help they’ve be dead before morning. Would the tooth be treated anyway or would they just keep them over night in a room and just do what they can to keep them alive and just treat where the abbess has spread to?

They would likely prescribe an antibiotic and pain med and before they sent you home, they'd tell you to contact your dentist ASAP

No the ER would not deal with anything dental/ They would treat the infection, if you were that sick, admit you to the hospital, and call in an oral surgeon. If you would be dead in that short of time, there are far more things to worry about than the tooth.
