Period late for 118 days?

I can't be pregnant, I'm 13, I don't like men, and I'm a virgin. When my period was 82 days late I brought it up to my mother and she said it was normal because I'm young. Prior, my periods were somewhat irregular in the sense that I got it every other month. I've suspected endometriosis due to my abnormally heavy flow and debilitating cramps, but when I asked her to take me to a gyno and she refused. Then I asked if I could try taking birth control to make my period more regular, but she refused to do that as well. Should I be worried?

Young girls can have sporadic periods, skip them completely, etc., for various reasons.  Usually due to stress, diet, medications, your period can vary dramatically.

At 13 its most likely, if worried see a doctor if you can to put your mind at ease.

At your age periods do not settle into a pattern. It is normal, it can take several years for your hormones to settle down.

NO BC, it will not do you any good at your age. I would be worried if at 15 you had the same problem.

Enjoy being period free while you can.

Probably not, at 13, yes your periods can be very irregular and there are very few things at that age which would be serious. Next time at the doc's you can ask.
