well google are friends with youtube , facebook,Yahoo, twitter, and other companies too. but i dont think they are not the owner of you- tube . why you asked them see ? they are listening and always online 24/7 . if you hate them then why are you still using them to be on here. giggles laughing at you . there no way to get rib of google because you need them to able log on your computer, check your email and messages and to have internet access. as for ask.com not really good company they have too many scrams and they dont make good money and they more likely to msn and aol .

It is hard to stop ALL Google related access.
Even with a VPN.
Using DuckDuckGo is better choice than any of the others.
Safescript is a good addon to a browser IF you know to block Google related things.
If you use an Android Phone, Google has full access no matter what your settings are.

YouTube was founded in 2005, and was its own thing. Google bought YouTube in 2006, and YouTube is now a subsidiary of Google.

You have it backwards. Youtube is a subsidiary of Google.
