Why are feminine men called gay?

Being feminine have nothing to do with being attracted to the same sex neither does it have to do with being happy.

    Many straight people think feminine = attracted to men & vice versa because that's (apparently) how it works for them. They then apply this bullshit idea to gay people.

    stereotypical gay men in movies are often shown more feminine, thats why some people accociate femininity with homesexuality i think
