What are the 'calling' procedures for witnessing a crime while on a computer in another state ?

Say for instance, your cell phone allows you to see in your house via wifi and cams at home

    what do you mean?  if it were me, I would have the regular number of my local PD memorized so that I can call that directly...if you are out of town and call 911, it may take a while to route it to the right department....in my area, the software is outdated...when i called 911 from within my town on my cell, they couldn't get it sent to my town.

    The same procedure you would do if you witnessed a crime in your own state.

    The procedure is pick up the phone and dial 911.

    Its not rocket science.
