Do police has a rights to refuse to accept witnesses writing statements as part of police reports?

When any crime scenes happens, police being called then show up, next ask whoever see it happened write statement on paper.

Let supposed one witness giving unacceptable statements. Do police can refuse it and trashed it, tell this witness to make better statements?

Example: one witness wrote "this ugly looking guy who looked scary did this and that" or "that as*hole and f*cling retard guy did this and that"

Reason thought police has to be careful with statements because defense attorneys can waken prosecutors case by saying witnesses giving bad unacceptable statements.

Nope. Witnesses say what they say. Forcing them to say something else is a coercive confession and will get kicked out. DAs don't have to call every witness. Just the ones who help their case.

Police reports don't work that way.

Police write police reports.  Police reports do NOT include stuff written by witnesses.  Normally police question witnesses, they don't usually take written statements.  If they did get a written statement, that would be evidence, but it wouldn't be part of the police report.

In case you wonder why Yahoo is being closed down, review your questions.

    .

The Police will take the statement.  The DISTRICT ATTORNEY will decide whether it's sensible and/or admissible.

    .

If the prosecutors aren't awake when they show up in Court they should be prosecutors.  They don't need anyone to "waken them."

    .

I presume that you are asking all of these questions about "retards" shooting people because you have mental health problems which you've posted as well as your fantasies of killing people?  Reported as threats.

Witness statements are about FACTS that happened, FACTS about what they heard/saw it is not about opinions on looks or discriminating judgements
