Why do liberal cities keep voting for more vandalism, looting, and, when there is nothing left to loot, burning?

Those cities aren't exactly run by the brightest bears in the forest, now are they.

Even when one of those mayors does have an above-room-temperature IQ, the last thang the rabble they lead are interested in is being lead somewhere constructive.
