Can a 16 year old US citizen choose to live in Canada with her Aunt?

    This teen might be able to get a student visa depending on what she's planning to do. But no, an aunt can't sponsor a niece for immigration and a 16 y.o. can't compete for a Canadian work visa. Besides, given the COVID-19 conditions in Canada right now it'll be a very long time before trans border traffic is allowed.

    Not without the 16 yr olds parents getting their child the correct visa to do so

    Not without a lot of hassle, and paperwork.  You would need to be accepted by the Canadian government.
