Sri Lankan Star Tortoise in 150 gallon glass tank?
I have a 150 gallon that's 5'x2'x2' big it's drilled for a external overflow. I'm not using the tank so I wanted to see if I can utilize it by placing the tortoise in it. My tortoise Is currently in a tortoise table. If I keep a thermometer and try to keep it dry. Since the tank is 5 feet long I thought it would have space to go from hot area to cold area. Also would cover the sides up to the tortoise shell to prevent it from seeing out.
Thanks for you're time.

Glass aquariums aren't suitable for tortoises. They have poor air circulation and can easily get too hot inside due to the intensity of a heat lamp, possibly causing your tortoise to become dehydrated. Even with a 5 foot long tank, it would be difficult to maintain an appropriate temperature gradient between the warm and cooler ends.
The tortoise table is a far better indoor enclosure for your Star Tortoise.
