Can we say 'at the bottom of the building'. If not, what's the (direct) alternative of it?
This is more like the opposite of 'on top of the building' -
I'm really hoping for the word 'bottom' in the sentence if it's incorrect or another which means the same.
PS: He's at the entrance of the building, is currently used, I am looking for a similar statement that says bottom in some way. Thanks a lot..

different words could be used depending on the specific situation. he could be at the front of the building (and by implication, at ground level, at the "Bottom"), he could be on the ground floor, or he could be at the base of the building. Perhaps at the entrance, which itself declares the "Bottom" for your purposes, because you would declare "Not bottom" somehow (like second-floor, or mezzanine, or something like that, entrance) if not an entrance at ground level. If you do not say otherwise, the entrance will be expected to be at the base, on the ground level somewhere.
Strictly speaking, the "bottom" is the lowest basement level, if you want the opposite of the "top" of the building, although if no basement, it would have to be the ground floor.
