I don't live for Yahoo Answers, but I'm very disappointed in Yahoo choosing to end YA.  Wasn't Yahoo Answers a good diversion from real life?

  • Yahoo Answers IS part of real life, and it just added to it for me. its been a hell of a lot of fun, and i learned a lot, and it was great to be around goofy, funny people. Its getting harder and harder to find such people.

And Anonymous, you can share that wealth with ME. ill happily share it with you.

It absolutely was and gave me a chance to express things anonymously or nobody would find out how I really felt and I could ask questions about problems I was having anonymously.  Before we could ask anonymously on yahoo answers I did not post much. Once we could it became a sort of therapy for me.

With yahoo answers closing I feel like I did when my grandfather died five years ago. He had raised me after my parents died and I was only 11 at the time and I lived with him for the next 20 years until his death. Because of his wealth and my parents wealth I’ve never had to work so now it’s just me. I feel the same way with yahoo answers closing.

Feelings from a 36 year old man Who grew up learning disabled and bullied but found an outlet in yahoo answers after his grandfather died in 2016.

  • After being here for 14-1/2 years I have to admit it was a "GOOD RUN".
