Yes, entirely. And not just because it became the chief focus, but because people began violating the terms of service so frequently that the platform couldn’t keep up with policing it. At the end of the day, it’s just become so full of Republicans’ dangerous disinformation and Republicans’ violent threats, that Yahoo feared they would eventually become liable for the content.
