Is this Aspergers or mental illnesses?

I have a friend who is disabled. He told me he had Aspergers and that his IQ is 75. That checks out since he can’t read any book that isn’t a children’s book. However, I’ve been friends with him for 9 years and he has displayed many signs of things that seem to be indicative of mental illnesses. For example; he believes that because certain authority figures have told him not to bother people that they are horrible people and will never let their own kids make decisions when they are adults. He told me he is ethical because he eats vegetarian and asks strangers about their undergarments. He says that he is a pleasant person to be around after telling people to shut the **** up and has said that people can only get food from him after he has thrown up. He also believes his 8th grade teacher is going to come to his house and take away his books. Yes, this could be autism speaking but it also seems to be schizophrenia since his view of reality is incredibly warped. He has also expressed violent desires on people who didn’t answer his  questions. He also thinks it’s okay to direct farts at people on the subway because he claims they smell good. He has also sent me text messages that are clearly him trying to annoy me as I have called him out on it several times. Is this just autism or does he have psychosis, schizophrenia, anti-social personality disorder etc?

Well, I don't know if this guy is putting you on or if he is telling the truth when it comes to his I.Q. (who tested him and when?) and his delusional thinking.

If he is for real, then I have to ask why his parents haven't gotten him any medical service from a licensed mental health provider because a lot of his behavior is antisocial, even though he claims to be a "pleasant person".

Want to check him out further?  Ask him these questions:

Does he "hear voices" in his head?

Does he see "shadow animals" or shadow creatures?

Does he feel he is being spied upon?

Does he feel that other people can "read" his thoughts?

Does he feel people are always talking about him or plotting against him?

Does the television or the radio ever talk to him or mention things that only he would understand?

Does he have a secret friend that only he can hear and see?

Ask him if he has a lot of money hidden somewhere or if he knows an important secret that he must keep to himself.

Ask him one or more of these questions during a normal and pleasant conversation.

You would be amazed at the lengths parents will go to get all the money that comes with a fake mental illness claim.
