Some people feel like it's "too political" to want racial equality in the justice system. They would rather athletes "shut up and dribble" than use their platform for good

If I order a pizza, and I don't want anchovies on that pizza, and you put anchovies on that pizza, I'm going to complain and not eat that pizza. If I order another pizza and you put more anchovies on it, I'm done eating at your establishment. This is how many people see their sports teams when said teams decides to get political. Most people use sports as an escape from everyday stessors, we don't want to be inundated with the same garbage we see non stop on cnn/msnbc/fox all day long.
